LOT #1310 - 1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS CUSTOM COUPE

Completed in 2021, this 1970 Chevelle underwent a
full frame-off Pro-Touring build and is powered by a
supercharged 6.2-liter LT5 V8 engine producing 755
horsepower and 715 ft/lbs of torque. Drive is sent
to the rear wheels via a TREMEC 6-speed manual
transmission. The LT5 engine exhales through a fully
polished stainless-steel exhaust system and the engine
compartment features a custom-fabricated firewall
and hood panels with aluminum Ringbrothers hood
hinges. The hood has been custom-modified with
additional vents for improved engine cooling, while
the front spoiler and rear wing provide improved
airflow and additional downforce. The Chevelle
features a high-performance Heidts independent
rear suspension to maximize handling. The original
frame has been completely boxed-in and bodyworked
smooth, and then fitted with a Pro-Touring setup
that employs Viking adjustable coilover springs with
tubular A-arm suspension and a custom front sway
bar. Braking power comes by way of 15-inch Wilwood
disc brakes with 6-piston calipers on all four corners.
