LOT# 1316 - 1956 CHEVROLET BEL AIR CUSTOM COUPE
NO RESERVE
Fully restored, this Bel Air received a thorough nut-and-bolt
rotisserie restoration and is powered by a 502 cubic-inch
Ram Jet big-block Chevrolet V8 engine. Topped with a simple
air cleaner and a chromed GM Performance Parts intake, the
V8 features Street & Performance fuel injection, lightweight
aluminum heads and chromed Chevrolet valve covers with
billet breathers. The Bel Air rides on an Art Morrison GT
Sport chassis painted in Metallic Silver. For suspension, the
Chevy has polished spindles, polished control arms, polished
sway bars and adjustable Aldan coilovers. A TREMEC TKO
600 5-speed transmission sits on a polished crossmember
and spins a polished aluminum driveshaft as well as a
smoothed and painted Ford 9-inch rear end that’s built
with a posi-traction differential and sporty 3.70 gears. The
Bel Air has power rack & pinion steering and features a set
of Wilwood brake calipers clamping down on drilled and
slotted rotors.
