This past January we broke our record for the most vehicles sold at one of our auctions, with over 2,000 vehicles on the docket.We are continually listening to our customers, which has helped us transform the automotive lifestyle event of the year into what it is today and reflect what our bidders and consignors appreciate the most. After we hosted an auction in Scottsdale in October 2020, we received incredible feedback on how everyone enjoyed coming to this destination city that time of year.We heard you loud and clear: Scottsdale is so nice we%u2019re having an auction here twice!The four-day 2024 Scottsdale Fall Auction, October 10-13, will feature new entertainment and lifestyle elements, along with live music on-site to further elevating the guest experience. We%u2019re excited to welcome Gila River Resorts & Casinos as the presenting sponsor of this event. As part of the presenting sponsorship, we are adding a new hospitality area called the %u201cYou Do You Patio%u201d adjacent to the auction arena. This area will be open to all auction attendees, offer an elevated dining experience and a premium viewing spot of the auction vehicles, and enhance the overall guest experience.We always look for opportunities to embrace new ideas that elevate the Barrett-Jackson experience. That%u2019s why we%u2019re excited to team up with World Food Championships and host the Southwest Chef Showdown at the upcoming auction. This unique event is a competition featuring up to 30 champion chefs, who will compete in a series of kitchen arena challenges during the four-day auction. The Southwest Chef Showdown will be an incredible extension of the lifestyle activities that make Barrett-Jackson an occasion the whole family will enjoy.Other highlights of the Fall Auction include the Opening Night Celebration taking place under the stars on Wednesday, October 9. It is sure to be an unforgettable evening with light bites, cocktails and dancing. We are also excited for the return of the Future Collector Car Show on Sunday, October 13. The January Scottsdale auction is known to attract a wide variety of celebrities, and the Fall Auction will be no different. Sammy Hagar is one of the most celebrated rock stars of our generation and isn%u2019t letting off the gas. We are excited that his 2015 Ferrari is the centerpiece of our second Scottsdale auction this year and will cross the block on Saturday, October 12. It%u2019s truly an epic way to close out 2024. Another spectacular highlight of the event will be Saul %u201cCanelo%u201d Alvarez%u2019s 2018 Bugatti Chiron. Alvarez is a champion across four weight divisions %u2013 super middleweight, junior middleweight, middleweight and light heavyweight %u2013 making this Bugatti truly a champion%u2019s choice at the Fall Auction.
