INAUGURAL NEW ORLEANS

AUCTION

For many people, attending a Barrett-Jackson auction is
a bucket-list event. What makes attending the ultimate
automotive lifestyle event even more memorable is
that it is held in world-renowned destination locations
like Scottsdale, Palm Beach and Las Vegas. This year,
Barrett-Jackson is adding another enticing locale to
its impressive roster by taking the excitement to New
Orleans, Louisiana.
New Orleans is a city filled with vibrant streets and
European-style architecture, memorable flavors, and
soul-filled rhythm and blues, making it an over-the-top
experience for the senses. It’s fitting that New Orleans’
motto is “Laissez les bon temps rouler,” which is French
for “Let the good times roll.” Good times will certainly
be had at Barrett-Jackson’s inaugural New Orleans
Auction, September 28-30.
The New Orleans Auction will be held in the Ernest N.
Morial Convention Center, located on the Mississippi
River in the Warehouse District, a neighborhood filled
with historic industrial warehouses that have been
transformed into modern museums (like the National
WWII Museum), art galleries, contemporary restaurants
and other attractions. The trendy neighborhood is nestled
between the Lower Garden District – known for its oak-
shaded streets, stately neoclassical mansions, cool cafes
and eclectic eateries – and Downtown New Orleans,
home to historic Canal Street, Canal Place and the Outlet
Collection at Riverwalk. Additionally, the convention
center is minutes from the iconic French Quarter, Jackson
Square and world-famous Bourbon Street.
The Hilton New Orleans Convention Center will serve as
the host hotel and provides the perfect starting point for
exploring the city’s culinary delights and jazz clubs. It is
located conveniently across the street from the convention
