Other highlights from the weekend included
STEM Fest presented by Ford, Lucid, Safe
Haven and Arizona SciTech Institute, driven
by Barrett-Jackson’s Gearing Towards the
Future initiative. STEM Fest offered children
an array of STEM games, robotics and other
activities. Barrett-Jackson was excited to
welcome the Blue Origin capsule in STEM
Fest and give children the opportunity to
dream about outer space.

The Boy Scouts were also on-site to earn their
automotive merit badges and participate in
a Pinewood Derby, one of the most popular
Scouting events for the past 50 years.

A highlight of the weekend was the Barrett-
Jackson Cup car parade across the auction
block with nearly 50 contenders competing
for the coveted Barrett-Jackson Cup,
presented by Castrol with support from
Summit Racing Equipment, Meguiar’s, TMI
and Robert Graham.
Sunday’s activities put the 2023 Future
Collector Car Show presented by Meguiar’s
in the spotlight. Held on the Polo Field, the
show featured over 100 future collectibles,
but ultimately it was a 2002 Honda S2000
that earned the Best of Show title.
The day concluded with the Opening Night
Gala, an annual celebration that starts
the Arizona event season and signifies the
beginning of Barrett-Jackson’s auction week.
The Gala, a renowned ultimate automotive
lifestyle event, featured over 50 airmen and
women in a salute to Arizona’s Luke Air
Force Base and presenting of colors, as well as
acclaimed live entertainment from Emerald
City Band and DJ Munition, gourmet food
and signature cocktails.
MONDAY ON THE MOVE
AND A TERRIFIC TUESDAY
The action began shortly after gates opened
on Monday and Tuesday with the Barrett-
Jackson Automobilia Auction. This popular
daily event shines the spotlight on one-of-
kind automotive collectibles that range from
vintage toys to antique gas pumps, glowing
neon signs, vending machines and more.
