LOT #1338 - 1968 SHELBY GT500KR – NO RESERVE
This 1968 Shelby GT500KR received
a complete nut-and-bolt concours-
level restoration performed by two
SAAC head judges. The restoration
utilized as many original or NOS
parts as could be located and is in
great condition. This KR is equipped
just as the day it was new and is
presented in its original shade of
Acapulco Blue with a black deluxe
interior. It's powered by a 428ci
8-cylinder engine and comes factory NO RESERVE - LOT #1338
equipped with 4-speed manual
transmission, air conditioning and
tilt-away steering. This KR is fully
documented with the original Build
Sheet and is in the Shelby Registry.
It has also been a feature display at
Eastville Car Museum.
LOT #1331 - 1967 SHELBY GT500 – NO RESERVE
The '67 Shelby sported good looks,
performance and a whole host of
upgraded options, such as heavy-
duty suspension with thicker
anti-sway bars, functional brake
scoops on early cars along with
inboard headlights, power steering
cooler, 15x7 cast aluminum wheels,
functional roll bar and shoulder NO RESERVE - LOT #1331
harness, oil pressure and amp gauge
cluster, Traction-Lok differential
and a 140 mph speedometer with
8,000 rpm tachometer. Car #1889
has had two owners the last 50
years, and includes all of its original
sheet metal and original glass,
including the front windshield.
It is documented as authentic matching-numbers example of and side windows. It's powered
in the Shelby Registry and was preserved authenticity and retains by its original 428ci 8-cylinder
beautifully restored to original its partial original Build Sheet. It's police interceptor engine backed
condition. The running gear is finished in its original colors with by a Toploader 4-speed manual
all original and includes original Wimbledon White stripes, inboard transmission and retains its original
floor paint. This GT500 is signed headlights, brake ducts, 10-spoke date-matching dual carburetors,
by Carrol Shelby along with Alan alloy wheels, original and one-year- which still function properly. The
Grant, one of the former drivers only wood steering wheel and horn fit and finish on the entire car is
for the Shelby team. This car is a button, and Carlite glass in the rear excellent.
