                                                             creation for $225,500, a 1939 Lincoln Zephyr custom coupe
                                                             for $187,000, a 1972 GMC K1500 custom pickup and a 1995
                                                             Porsche 911 convertible for $165,000 each, and a 1967 Ford
                                                             Bronco custom SUV for $161,700.
                                                             MILLION-DOLLAR MUSTANG: Day 7 was one for the books! More
                                                             than 60 world records were set as Barrett-Jackson experienced
                                                             its best Friday auction ever.

                                                             The day’s top sellers included a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Custom
                                                             Coupe for $352,000; a 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute
                                                             Edition and 2022 Corvette Stingray Convertible IMSA GTLM
                                                             Championship Edition for $330,000 each; a 1964 Lincoln
                                                             Continental custom for $304,700; and a 1954 Willys Jeep
                                                             Custom Pickup, 1969 Chevrolet Camaro custom coupe and
                                                             1968 Shelby GT350 convertible that each sold for $275,000.
                                                             Four charity cars also crossed the block. First up was a custom-
                                                             built 1968 Mustang Fastback Resto-Mod that left folks cheering
                                                             as the gavel fell on a $1 million bid, setting a new auction
                                                             world-record. One hundred percent of the hammer price went
                                                             to the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service (STARS) Foundation.
                                                             Craig Jackson and Steve Davis drove the excitement as they
                                                             joined Aaron Shelby, Henry Ford III and other Ford and Shelby
                                                             VIPs to sell the brand-new first production Shelby GT500KR,
                                                             which commemorates Shelby American’s 60th anniversary.
                                                             The vehicle sold for $700,000, with 100% of the hammer price
                                                             going to the Carroll Shelby Foundation and JDRF, supporting
                                                             Type 1 diabetes research.
                                                             Also on the day’s charity docket was a brand-new 2022 Toyota
                                                             Tundra TRD Pro Crewmax pickup VIN 002. One hundred
                                                             percent of its $550,000 hammer price supports the Toyota
                                                             US Paralympic Fund, which supports Team USA’s Paralympic
                                                             athletes, including Arizona native Kaitlyn Verfuerth, who
                                                             joined Craig and Steve on the block.
                                                             Music icon and Barrett-Jackson friend Bret Michaels fired up
                                                             the audience when he stopped by to auction off his 2007
                                                             Bentley Continental GT, with a portion of the proceeds
                                                             benefiting his Life Rocks Foundation, which helps raise
                                                             awareness of Type 1 diabetes. Following some spirited bidding,
                                                             the silver luxury vehicle sold for $126,500.
                                                             Michaels then lent his star power to the auction of a 1973 De
                                                             Tomaso Pantera. The Italian supercar sold for $155,000, with
                                                             100% of the hammer price going to the Barrow Neurological
                                                             Foundation, an organization near and dear to Michaels’ heart.
                                                             Two impeccably restored kiddie rides were top sellers during
                                                             the morning’s Automobilia Auction. A figure of Borden Dairy’s
                                                             lovable mascot Elsie the Cow took the top spot, selling for
                                                             $86,250, and a 1950s Chris-Craft Woody Speed Boat ride
                                                             made waves with its $46,000 sale price.
