And that MG TC? It was later sold at Barrett-
Jackson’s Scottsdale Auction in 2015 when Ron
Pratte, who had bought the car in Vegas in 2008,
sold his incredible collection. It was purchased by
the Shelby family for their own collection of historic
vehicles that were part of Carroll’s legacy. Talk about
coming full circle!

Carroll’s presence fills the room every time one of
the cars he created rolls across the block. That spirit
is perfectly at home among the bright lights and
nonstop excitement of Las Vegas.
And here’s to the next 100 years!
