JANUARY AUCTION IGNITES THE
COLLECTOR CAR MARKET
In total, 1,857 vehicles sold for
over $195.9 million, while 1,153
pieces of automobilia brought in
over $7.3 million, bringing the
total auction sales to more than
$203.2 million with a 100% sell-
through rate and over 190 world
record auction sales achieved.
In addition to its quality collector
car docket, Barrett-Jackson brought
back the prestigious Barrett-Jackson
Cup to recognize the talent and
craftsmanship of custom car and
truck builders.
OPENING WEEKEND: The 50th
anniversary of Barrett-Jackson’s
flagship Scottsdale auction opened
its gates Saturday, Jan. 22, with an
abundance of fun activities and
experiences as part of QuikTrip
Family Day.
The morning began with “supercar
therapy” for 20 Very Important
Passengers and their families as part of
Barrett-Jackson’s partnership with the
Driven Project. The VIPS — children
battling serious illnesses and life
challenges — were treated to a police-
escorted supercar adventure around
WestWorld and through the auction
site, riding in Lamborghinis, Ferraris
and McLarens. Additionally, auction
guests enjoyed a visit from Phxdriven,
The Supercar Club of Arizona.

custom builds vying for the Barrett-
