Public parking is plentiful at NRG Center; use Gate 3 on
the corner of Fannin and Holly Hall. There is also a Houston
METRORail station right near the main entrance of NRG
Center, so public transportation is also a good option.
TV crews from FYI and History will be on-site throughout the
week, providing many hours of live coverage. Alert your friends at
home – they may spot you on live television!
Like most major sporting events, Barrett-Jackson has a
Clear Bag Policy. Guests will only be permitted to enter the
auction site with clutch purses that do not exceed 6.5×4.5
inches or clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed
12x6x12 inches (or one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags). Clear
bags will be for sale near the auction entrance. Security officers
will be checking all bags at the auction entrance, and guests
will be screened for weapons and contraband.
Weapons of any type, video cameras, skateboards, drones,
coolers, backpacks and/or diaper bags that aren’t clear and
within the size constraints indicated above, and animals
(with the exception of service animals to assist guests with
disabilities) are among the prohibited items.
Only one sealed bottle of water (under 17 oz.) will be allowed.
Other outside beverages and food are prohibited.
Barrett-Jackson will continue to work with state and
local governmental authorities to ensure adherence to any
COVID-19 restrictions or protocols that may be in place at the
time of the event.
