1956 FORD F-100 BIG-WINDOW CUSTOM PICKUPP - NO RESERVE
1956 Ford F-100 Pro-Touring build completed in 2020 by premier builder, Metal
Brothers Hot Rods. The builders started with a clean big-window 56 F-100 out of El
Paso, TX, and a 4-inch stretched chassis by Roadster Shop with 13-inch Wilwood
disc brakes and RideTech shocks. For the wheels, Boyd HR-99 20-inch for the rear
and 19-inch in front were chosen. The new Coyote 5.0-liter Gen 2 engine with
PBH pulleys and 6R80 transmission provide the power through a Ford 9-inch
differential with a 3.25 ratio. The fenders were widened 3.5 inches in the rear and
2.5 in the front, the cab has been slightly chopped 1.5 inches below the windows
and the body dropped 1.5 inches. The interior features custom vintage oak leather
throughout, Snowden bucket seats, custom center console and headliner, hidden
window switches and Kicker Bluetooth stereo, and a custom dash with Dakota
Digital HDX gauges. This new build only has 150 test miles on the odometer and
won Truck of the Year at the F-100 Grand Nationals in 2020 and is featured in the
F-100 Builder’s Guide, Winter 2021 Issue 15.
1960 CHEVROLET EL CAMINO CUSTOM PICKUP - NO RESERVE
This 1960 Chevrolet El Camino custom pickup is
powered by an LS engine stroked to a 383ci paired
to a PerformaBuilt 4L65E automatic transmission
rated to handle up to 1000hp. This custom received
a no-expense-spared restoration; the build was
completed in 2018 with less than 100 miles on it.
This example is finished in a two-tone Mercedes
Silver and Mercedes Tenorite Gray exterior of high
professional show-quality. The custom two-tone
leather encases the cockpit. Panels were smoothed
and shaved to highlight curvatures of the design
lines. The interior and exterior were upgraded with
modern technology and high-performance fuel-
injected horsepower. Stopping power is provided
by 4-wheel Wilwood big disc brakes. This custom
rides on Rocket wheels Attack Machine Titanium
wrapped with Nitto 555G2 tires. Suspension is
Heidts PRO-G sub-frame rack & pinion steering
and a 4-link 9-inch Ford posi-rear end. The exhaust
has stainless-steel headers and Flowmaster mufflers
exiting in front of the rear wheels.
