84 BARRETT-JACKSON EXPERIENCE WINTER 20241970 PLYMOUTH HEMI SUPERBIRD This matching-numbers 1970 Plymouth HEMI Superbird was the recipient of a comprehensive rotisserie restoration. It is powered by its matchingnumbers 426ci HEMI V8 engine with factory-rated 425hp, equipped with dual 4-barrel carburetors, hemispherical heads, black wrinkle valve covers and stock exhaust manifolds. The engine is paired with a matching-numbers A727 automatic transmission and a Sure-Grip 8.75-inch rear axle with a 3.55 ratio. Finished in high-impact Lemon Twist it includes dual exhaust, power steering and power brakes with front discs. The interior features black and Charcoal vinyl upholstery with silver piping on the front buckets and rear seat and coordinating door panels, black headliner, carpet and dash, as well as a factory 150-mph speedometer and full gauges, heater defroster and AM radio. The sale comes with a certification and Wise Validation Report from David Wise of MMC Detroit, full documentation with the Broadcast Sheet, over 600 photos, and receipts documenting this car and the restoration. All body numbers match top to bottom and the Superbird retains its factory Data Tag and VIN. This car is one of the 1,935 Superbirds produced in 1970, with only 135 coming with a HEMI engine.
