Since its inception in 1968, Summit Racing has carved a niche for itself as a premier supplier of high-performance parts and accessories, catering to the needs of gearheads, racers and hobbyists alike.Summit Racing traces its roots back to Ohio, where it was founded by a young engineer with a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette and a passion for drag racing. He made some connections to get performance parts at a discount. It wasn’t long before word got out and his drag-racing buddies wanted the same deal. Business picked up and Summit Racing Equipment was born, first as a part-time parts business in Stow, Ohio, shortly followed by its first “store,” located in the basement of a local donut shop. What started as a modest venture to provide friends with affordable parts soon became a thriving enterprise, fueled by a commitment to providing racers with everything they need to win and a keen understanding of the automotive aftermarket.
