Originally conceived as a civilian version of Dodge%u2019s military 4x4 trucks used during World War II, the Power Wagon could handle any terrain. Selling with No Reserve at the 2024 Scottsdale Fall Auction, Oct. 10-13 at WestWorld is a custom Power Wagon pickup that merges classic good looks with modern performance, breathing new life into a timeless truck. The Power Wagon received a frame-off restoration that was completed in early May 2024. At its heart lies a 5.9-liter Cummins 12-valve turbo-diesel engine, known for its reliability and torque. This engine, a staple in the diesel world, transforms the Power Wagon into a modern workhorse, while a custom aluminum radiator keeps the engine cool under pressure. The engine is backed by a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission. Additionally, the driver can choose between two- and four-wheel drive, ensuring the truck can tackle any terrain it encounters. Under the body, this Power Wagon utilizes a brandnew Tisdale Coachworks steel frame, which serves as the backbone of this formidable machine. It features King coilover struts with a 4-link suspension, providing enhanced stability and control, crucial for both off-road adventures and smooth highway cruising. The body was meticulously stripped down to bare metal, sandblasted and prepped with highbuild polyester primer before receiving its final coat - a Ceramic Gray basecoat with a glossy clearcoat finish. The fenders and running boards retain their original design, finished in a deep Gloss Black with clearcoat and undercoated for protection against the elements. The wood bed is finished in an Ash Gray stain and sealed with stainless-steel strips.Riding on custom Trailready 20-inch beadlock wheels with Toyo tires, this truck is as capable as it is stylish. The front is outfitted with a 12,000-pound WARN winch, ready to tackle any obstacle or rescue mission with ease. Completing the nostalgic exterior are classic-looking high-output headlights and marker lamps, complemented by Dodge-marked taillights. Inside, the Power Wagon offers a blend of classic style and modern comfort. The custom distressed leather seat features a diamond pattern, providing a touch of luxury and ruggedness. Carpeted flooring, leather door panels, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and dash further enhance the interior%u2019s sophisticated feel. The Power Wagon has been equipped with power steering and power brakes, providing a driving experience that is both effortless and enjoyable. Additional modern conveniences include a front console, power locks, power windows, keyless entry, Ididit tilt steering column, Dakota Digital gauges and a Vintage Air system to keep the cabin comfortable, no matter the weather.
