Ferrari captured lightning in a bottle with the SF90, symbolizing a new era of performance, and embodying the essence of speed and electrifying performance in a sleek, sculpted form. Since the LaFerrari debuted in 2013, Ferrari has been paving the way for supercar hybridization to enhance performance rather than increase fuel economy. When introduced in 2019, the SF90 built on that knowledge, utilizing a 769-horsepower, mid-mounted, twinturbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 %u2013 the most powerful engine ever residing under the hood of something wearing the Prancing Horse badge. What makes the SF90 even more special is that it's augmented by three electric motors that deliver an extra 217 horsepower: two in front for front propulsion and the third between the engine and the 8-speed automatic gearbox. The 986-horsepower total output propels the all-wheel-drive SF90 from 0-60 mph in a lightning-fast 2.1 seconds. Aerodynamics play a crucial role in the overall design and performance of the striking SF90, influencing virtually every aspect of its structure. The entire body surface and underbody have been crafted to optimize airflow. This includes channeling air to cool essential components such as the internal combustion engine, the cabin, the e-Powertrain and multiple radiators. Even the wheels were designed to draw air from the brakes, ensuring they remain cool during highintensity intervals of stop-and-go speed.
