1971 MERCEDES-BENZ 280SL ROADSTER –
NO RESERVE
This 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SL roadster has undergone a full and
comprehensive restoration using original or remanufactured parts. The
restoration and rebuild of the matching-numbers 2.8-liter 6-cylinder
engine included all new pistons, bushings, valve guides and valves.
This Mercedes features all-new steering components, new brakes,
suspension, cardan bushing, new cardan couplings and all-new tires.
The original interior is equipped with new carpeting using the original
material, fully reconditioned instruments, all-new thermal insulation
with original material and the window lifters have been reconditioned
to new. Additionally, it features a remanufactured air conditioner,
along with heating and ventilation with a new compressor.
