According to Porsche, the 911 GT2 RS delivers
supercar-worthy performance, including a
340 km/h (211.266 mph) top speed. Blinding
acceleration includes the 0 to 60 mph sprint
in 2.7 seconds and 80 to 120 km/h (50 to 75
mph) requires just 1.5 seconds. The factory also
claims that the 911 GT2 RS is capable of covering
the quarter-mile in just 10.5 seconds, formerly
the domain of purpose-modified drag cars.
Roadholding and braking are equally brilliant
with stiffer underpinnings, lightweight interior
appointments and enlarged 4-wheel disc brakes.
Predictably, the 911 GT2 RS was an eagerly
awaited marquee attraction of the 2017 Xbox E3
event, coinciding with the launch of the Forza
Motorsport 7 video game, with the new Porsche
serving as a cover car and playable vehicle. On
the track, lap records fell to the 911 GT2 RS,
most notably at the Nürburgring’s challenging
Nordschleife circuit – first in September 2017,
and again on October 25, 2018, when Porsche
test driver Lars Kern reclaimed the lap record for
Porsche from archrival Lamborghini.
Production along a limited run of just 1,000
examples of the GT2 RS was projected by
Porsche, ensuring the model’s instant and future
collectability and desirability. Electrifying in
red and black livery and clearly benefiting from
garage storage and regular servicing, this one-
owner 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 offered in Scottsdale
is in virtually new condition with delivery miles,
extremely limited usage and a clean CARFAX
vehicle-history report. Sporting the optional
$18,000 lightweight Weissach Package delivering
ultimate performance, this car represents one of
the best-performing and most desirable road/
track models ever offered by Porsche.
Sure to captivate all onlookers, this 2018 Porsche
911 GT2 RS Weissach Edition is but one of the
headline consignments for the upcoming Barrett-
Jackson Scottsdale Auction at WestWorld, January
21-29, 2023. Register to bid today for your chance
to experience the action and bring home this
unrivaled example of Porsche’s dual-purpose,
road and track legend today.
