1961 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 283/245 CONVERTIBLE
This 1961 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is a two-time NCRS Top Flight
award-winner and is powered by a matching-numbers 283ci V8 engine with
a dual 4-barrel carburetor (CU code) producing 245hp, paired with a T10
4-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with 7-finned cast valve covers
and is finished in Tuxedo Black with black coves over a black interior. The
1961 Corvette had many firsts for this model and was the final year for the
dual-quad and the 283ci V8 engine. This is the first year with the aluminum
radiator as standard equipment, as well as the first year for under-car exhaust.
