higher downforce, maximizing performance. Speaking
of performance, the Huracán EVO is simply outrageous,
with 0-60 mph acceleration in just 2.9 seconds, 0-200
km/h (0-124 mph) acceleration in 9 seconds and a
202-mph terminal velocity. Anchor-like braking includes
100-0 km/h (62-0 mph) stopping power in just 104 feet
(32 meters).
As stunning as its performance credentials, the Huracán
Evo is a technical tour de force with uncanny handling
response thanks to Lamborghini’s rear-wheel steering
and 4-wheel torque vectoring systems. Fully integrating
all vehicle dynamics, the Lamborghini Dinamica
Veicolo Integrata (LDVI) system effectively anticipates
the Huracán EVO’s next move and driver needs. Real-
time monitoring of the vehicle is accomplished with
the Lamborghini Plattaforma Inerziale (LPI), utilizing a
comprehensive array of accelerometers and gyroscopic
sensors located at the Huracán EVO’s center of gravity.
Enhanced to Version 2.0 programming, the LPI system
provides real-time monitoring of lateral, longitudinal
and vertical acceleration, plus the roll, pitch and yaw
rates more commonly associated with latest supersonic
military aircraft. Revised magnetorheological suspension
uses electromagnetic current to adjust the suspension in
accordance with the driving mode selected.
